Who We Are

FRA Branch 172, located in Yorktown, Virginia, is a local unit of the Fleet Reserve Association—a congressionally chartered, non-profit organization representing the interests of enlisted Sea Service personnel before the U.S. Congress.

"Our mission is to foster camaraderie and support by providing a member-driven venue where fellowship, advocacy, and community engagement thrive for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families."

Loyalty

To God and Country, to the Sea Services, and to our Shipmates.

Protection

Advocating for adequate national defense and the rights of those who serve.

Service

Rendering assistance to our Shipmates and their dependents in good fortune or distress.

Our Heritage: The 1954 Charter
